Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission

The mission of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is to protect, conserve, and enhance the Commonwealth’s aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is an independent Commonwealth agency comprised of 10 Commissioners appointed by the Governor and approved by the Legislature. The Fish and Boat Commission provides a wide range of information, from where someone can launch a boat or catch a trout, to regulations for a body of water or for a species.

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is comprised of three offices and eleven bureaus or sub-offices.
