Virginia DCR Office of Land Conservation

The Virginia DCR Office of Land Conservation helps citizens and organizations protect land in the Commonwealth. We do this by:

1. Helping interested landowners understand all the different options available for protecting their land;
2. Providing information regarding land conservation to the public; and
3. Providing services to state agencies, local governments, land trusts and professionals through:
   • Technical assistance
   • Workshops and training
   • Serving as a clearinghouse for information

Its goal is to connect you with the information and agency, land trust or organization that best address your needs... to point you in the right direction.
