Land and Water Conservation Fund - Federal Funding
Land and Water Conservation Fund - Federal Funding
The federal side of the Land and Water Conservation Fund provides funding for four federal agencies -- U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, and the Bureau of Land Management -- which they use to protect land within existing recreation areas, parks, forests, refuges and other federal units. These LWCF funds are the primary source of money used by the agencies for this purpose.
