Overview
Our Mission
The mission of the Litchfield Land Trust is to conserve the natural resources of Litchfield and abutting towns, and to acquire open space so that the present environmental qualities will be preserved for future residents. The primary goal of the Litchfield Land Trust is to identify and conserve critical lands through coordinated efforts with landowners, state and town agencies and conservation organizations. This land is maintained in accordance with the highest standards of land stewardship.
