Primary Motivations:

    Remove the exotic invasive plants to allow the native plants to grow, thrive, and flourish.
  • Public Benefit
    To show that invasive plants can be controlled and that the native plants do have more benefit to our ecosystem than the exotic invasives.

  • Our goal is to remove the exotic invasive plants to allow the native plants to grow, thrive, and flourish.
    Progress: We have now taken definitive steps toward this eradication and have put in place some progressions of these steps to further this goal in the coming years.

The area is looked on weekly and the results is documented.

Lessons Learned and/or Suggestions for Similar Activities
Use the herbicide percentage mixtures as recommended and then be patient. It takes much longer to do the right type of eradication than the hurry-up top kill.
