The Big Grass Marsh is DUC’s first-ever project in Canada. Big Grass Marsh is a low-lying, flat area consisting of a large marsh that remains vitally important for waterfowl and wildlife, surrounded by community pastures and agricultural land located just west of the town of Langruth in south-central Manitoba. " Ducks Unlimited conserved its first acre of water in 1938 on Big Grass Marsh, just north of Gladstone Manitoba.
