NatureServe and the National Geographic Society invite you to nominate a conservation success story that could be featured on LandScope America or the forthcoming National Conservation Wall Map! We’re asking you to share your most compelling stories of special places saved through the efforts of people and organizations that care about the land.
The place you nominate may be a conservation success story you were personally involved in, one that's captured your imagination from afar, or one that you’ve heard about or visited. The place may be as modest as a local stream or natural area, or as big as an entire watershed or mountain range. It may be on public lands, private lands, or a mix of the two. It may already be well-known (like the Great Sand Dunes?) or known only to your friends and neighbors. What's most important is that the success stories you nominate deserve to be shared across America and will inspire others to action.
Please fill out the form below to tell us about a conservation success story you think we should feature on LandScope America or the National Conservation Wall Map. Only brief summary information is requested here—we will contact you for additional details if we’d like to use your nomination. You can submit multiple nominations by clicking Submit and then starting over on a blank form.
As a thank you for submitting a nomination, we’ll send you a free copy of the National Conservation Wall Map currently being developed by the National Geographic Society and NatureServe and planned for publication in the fall of 2008.
