The Florida Forever Acquisitions data layer is a parcel dataset developed and maintained by FNAI that identifies and provides information on parcels that have been purchased with funding from the State’s Florida Forever environmental land acquisition program.

What this data layer represents

The FNAI Florida Forever Acquisitions data layer contains parcels that have been purchased using Florida Forever (FF) funding.

Description

This data layer is parcel-based and contains information pertaining to specific parcels that have been purchased with funding from the State’s Florida Forever environmental land acquisition program.  Most of these parcels will also be incorporated into the Florida Natural Areas Inventory's Florida Managed Areas (FLMA) data layer, either as new managed areas (i.e., conservation lands) or additions to existing managed areas.

How you might make use of this data layer

This data layer shows lands that have been conserved through the Florida Forever program.  These data are used to report bi-annual progress on natural resource protection by Florida Forever.
