Our Mission

The purpose of this corporation shall be to promote conservation of natural resources and agriculture in the Central Pennsylvania area through development of public awareness, education, scientific research, and cooperation with local and state governments in developing programs for environmental improvement and (a) the acquiring and protecting of open space; (b) encouraging and sustaining an environment of cooperation; (c) identifying and preserving unique and publicly valued natural and historic resources in the region, including flora, fauna, geologic and historic features. (d) preserving agricultural lands.
