Our Mission

The Corporation is organized to: a. Directly or indirectly acquire property, development rights, logging rights, or other property rights for the purposes of land preservation; b. Solicit donations of money, time, development rights, logging rights, other property rights, property, and other things from the public to further our purposes; c. Transfer property or property rights to other governmental or nonprofit agencies for management; d. Plan for the preservation of land areas; e. Engage in educational activities about land preservation

We’ll soon complete an upgrade that will enable land trusts to add other material, such photos and descriptions of  featured projects or marquee initiatives, as shown in this example.
