Bitter Root Land Trust
Overview
Our Mission
The Bitter Root Land Trust is a private, non-profit organization that partners with landowners to conserve clean water, wildlife habitat, and working farms and ranches in and around the Bitterroot Valley for the benefit of this and future generations. We accomplish our mission primarily through voluntary conservation agreements but extend our focus to developing alternative conservation tools and to creating outreach and education programs that build community support for private land conservation.
