Our Mission

RGALT's mission is to preserve working farms and ranches, wildlife habitat, open space and scenic vistas for all New Mexicans. We work with private landowners to protect their land and water rights through the use of voluntary conservation easements. Our vision of the Middle Rio Grande valley is a landscape rich with vegetation and wildlife, water in the river and ditches, thriving farms and connected rural and urban communities.
