To protect a sustainable portion of the Katy Prairie for the benefit of its wildlife and for the enjoyment of present and future generations of Texans.

Our Focus

Historic_Cultural (VI); Open_Space (EI); Urban (SWI); Farm_Ranch (VI); Natural (EI); Recreation (VI); Water (EI); Forests (NI) KPC primarily operates on the Katy Prairie within the Cypress Creek and Buffalo Bayou Watersheds (boundaries are Loop 610 on the east, US 290 on the north, Brazos River on the west and US I-10 on the south.
