Overview

Our Mission

To purchase tracts of undeveloped land for permanent open space; to promote protection and restoration of natural, scenic, cultural, historic, and biologically sensitive resources through research and education of the general public; to conduct environmental education programs for children; to publish periodic newsletters with events and preservation information; to hold native plant sales; to lead informative walks through property owned and managed; to maintain and monitor owned property through effective land management; and to conduct negotiations to purchase additional properties.
