Project Description

Located in Holland, Michigan, the Holland Board of Public Works (HBPW) is home to a gas-fired power plant. The site’s Holland Energy Park program is located on a 26-acre wetland that will eventually connect the Outdoor Discovery Center Macatawa Greenway system to the Windmill Island Gardens. Beginning in March 2015, HBPW began to rehabilitate the wetland with the goal of creating a high-quality natural area for humans and wildlife.
