Kesler Park Trail Construction and Invasive Removal
Project Description
Ecological restoration efforts at Kessler Park have been incredibly enhanced thanks to funding by the Missouri Department of Conservation. The combination of volunteer power and paid crews have resulted in a massive transformation of the forested area of Kessler Park. Visitors can now access the interior forest to enjoy the natural beauty being reclaimed from invasive bush honeysuckle. Animal tracks are numerous within the newly cleared corridors.
