Oak Barrens Restoration at Quincy Bluffs State Natural Area

Project Description

Nature Conservancy staff and volunteers, together with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources staff, are working to restore these barrens communities. Management has included timber harvest, prescribed fire, seeding of former agricultural fields to prairie, and salvage logging following tornado disturbance.
