Ecological and biological factors influencing the presence and distribution of sagebrush taxa within the Uncompahgre Plateau - implications to community restoration 


Background: This annual multi-stakeholder meeting brings together industry, agencies, practitioners, NGOs and researchers to advance our ability to put "The right seed in the right place at the right time" in the greater Colorado Plateau region of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.  The CPNPP is led by the Bureau of Land Management’s Plant Conservation Program effort to work with all stakeholders to implement the National Seed Strategy for Rehabilitation and Restoration.  

Special focus for 2018: We particularly invite those working in a Reclamation context to join us.

Schedule:  1 pm Monday the 5th through Tuesday the 6th, including a Monday evening poster session reception. Half-day field trip to a nearby restoration trial and the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area on Wednesday the 7th, weather permitting.

Field Trip Information (Download Full Details): An optional half day field trip, February 7th, will visit two restoration site locations a Colorado Parks & Wildlife habitat restoration trial and a short hike in BLM's McInnis Canyon National Conservation Area.
